Location
My peaceful counselling room is located in the lovely village of Kirby Muxloe LE9. Parking is always available at the premises.
Just a short drive from the city, the village is easily accessible.

In-Person Phone and Video Counselling:

Ethical Practice
I can’t help everyone. I do not knowingly work beyond my limits of competence.
If I feel that my competence, my skills, my clinical experience and my counselling modality are likely to be insufficient / unsuitable / unhelpfuI I will say so. This can be prior to or during counselling. It may occur on the first session, or 2 years on. The length of time we have been working together is irrelevant. Sometimes a situation can arise or a change may occur which means I am unable to continue our work / I am unable to help you. My absolute priority is maintaining your best interests.
In maintaining your best interests it may be that I advise you of other counsellors who are better qualified to help. There may also be specialist organisations that are better placed to support you. This is extremely ethically important and something that professional bodies, The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society are very clear about. In the event of a referral I will do my best to offer you more appropriate professionals/organisations for you to consider.
We are all different. Whilst the services I provide are extremely helpful for the majority, I must stress that I can not and do not provide any form of guarantee in symptom reduction.
